Cross-country is open to all sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. Sixth graders and seventh graders run a one-mile race over grassy terrain and eighth graders run a two-mile race in the meets. Cross-country is a fun, co-ed, short season and a great way to get involved at school and make some friends.

All athletes need to wear the uniform top that is checked out to them and their own black or navy shorts for each meet. Meets are typically an hour long. A bus will take athletes to and from meets. Parents/guardians may take athletes home with them after meets, but must check out with a coach. In case of inclement weather, please watch the Prairie Trail website for cancellation news or the Remind App.
